Raïsa Zonnemijn Schoon
Beach volleyball player Raïsa Schoon from Werkendam and her partner Katja Stam have qualified for the Beach Pro Tour Finals. Only the eight best teams on the world rankings qualify for this. They are the only Dutch team participating. Unique is that they have qualified for this tournament for the second year in a row.
The tournament will take place this week in Doha. It is a prestigious tournament, no points can be earned for qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris. Nevertheless, the Games will play an important role in this tournament, because it is likely that these teams will also meet each other in Paris.
